Artist Statement

A selection of artistic and functional wares, all Handcrafted in Vermont. Hand-carved lamps, vases, bowls, teapots and more. All hand-thrown from clay mixed on-site and featuring glazes formulated by the artist

Inspired by nature...

Each of my carved pieces takes from 4 to 6 weeks to complete. They are based on my floral sketches and are carved freehand.

The process involves throwing and then applying a clay slip to the pot. Then, when the vessel is leather hard, I carve through the slip to create the design.
